The family has arrived so our house of 8 has expanded to a house of 12! Argh! We've got things set up to work out as far as sleeping arrangements - we're using a couple of air mattresses and I stocked up on some pillows. I hadn't even thought about how much food we need to have on hand! Luckily T is a Wanna-be-Emeril so he's been doing most of the cooking. Been pretty damn tasty too - tonight it's hamburgers (they are smelling SOOOO good) and tomorrow he's going to try a recipe from one of the new cookbooks I got him for Christmas. It's awesome having a honey that can cook but damn it's bad news for the waistline!

We were thinking about going to the Riverwalk tomorrow for New Years Eve but I think the crowds are going to be outrageous so we might get us some shrimps to steam, some yummy snacks and just stay home and have our own little party. The boys are supposed to be picked up by their Mom in the morning so at least the kid tally will be taken down to 3 ;-) It's been a long two weeks lemme tell ya! But in all reality all 6 have been pretty good - nobody's been rushed to the hospital only a couple of nose bleeds :-)

Hope you got T a cute new apron to go along with his cookbook. I can't really say much though since my step-daughter got me one of those cake pans 'as seen on tv' that have the contraption that allows you to make a cake that you can stuff with ice cream or pudding.
You and yours have a Great New Years!
